Arlesey Town made it back to back league wins on Saturday with a 2-0 success at Godalming.

The victory sees them edge out of the relegation zone in the Southern League Division One Central.

The win came thanks to a goal in each half. Wilson was forced off injured early on and was replaced by Tarum Dawkins. He made an instant impact, finishing with his first contribution to the game on seven minutes.

The second goal followed midway through the second half. Jack Vasey intercepted a poor ball from a Godalming defender, went wide and fired home into the opposite corner.

Arlesey held on for a deserved victory and first clean sheet of the campaign.

They turn their attention to the FA Trophy on Saturday, October 3 when they host Redbridge.
