Arlesey Town were one of the few senior sides to beat the weather and play on Saturday – but they slumped to a 3-1 defeat to lowly Hanwell Town.
The visitors opened the scoring on 22 minutes when the home defence failed to clear and Ahmed Mohhamed poked home.
But Arlesey were back on level terms just seven minutes later when Lewis Wilson struck to see an even first half end all square.
However in the second period Hanwell went ahead just past the hour through Tom Duffy and Calum Duffy flicked home a killer third on in the final minutes.
It sees Arlesey’s poor home form in the Southern League Division One Central continue. They have now lost nine of their 13 fixtures.
They visit St Ives Town in the league on Saturday.
