Biggleswade Town smash five past Slough

Tony Burnett scored a hat-trick as freescoring Waders thrashed Slough Town 5-1 on Tuesday night.

Biggleswade were trwo goals up at the break after early strikes from Burnett and Gain Hoyte.

The Waders then fired out of the blocks and scored three in five minutes at the start of the second half. Captain Craig Daniel grabbed the third and Burnett the other two to complete his hat-trick.

Visitors Slough pulled one back in injury time but this second win in two games has Biggleswade sitting top of the Southern League Premier Division at this early stage.

They host Redditch on Saturday.
