At a wet and windy Roker Park, home of Stotfold FC, Rovers were all over Langford in the early stages and only a couple of fine saves from goalkeeper Grant Beckwith kept them out.

He was beaten on six minutes though as despite another fine Beckwith stop, Bilal Hassan was on hand to slot home the rebound.

Hassan was a danger all evening and came close on several occasions, but just as Langford looked to have settled and started playing some good football, he struck again to make it 2-0.

Although Langford fought hard in the second half they badly missed the suspended Matt Kenneford up front and they seldom looked like opening up the Barton defence as they were a beaten side.

Meanwhile, the club are now seeking a new first team manager.
