Langford battled back against Hillingdon to earn a share of the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Both teams attacked from the off, creating an end to end open game right from the start.
Hillingdon – with speed to spare down the flanks – caused early problems for the Langford defence, with Thomas crossing from the right for Grant to shoot over from close range.
Langford settled and began to pass and play with good effect, taking the lead in the 17th minute as Kenneford scored with a low shot in off a post.
The game was end to end, and in the 45th minute Faux-James cut in from the right, shot and scored to level things up at 1-1.
In the 54th minute, following some good play by Thomas, Faux-James was able to score his and Hillingdon’s second goal from close range to make it 2-1.
From the restart Grant forced a good save from Langford keeper Bodger, and three minutes later they were rewarded when Scotney crossed for skipper Johnson to open his account a with a far post header.
There were further chances, but no more goals as the game ended 2-2.
