Mark Gearing takes overall charge of team affairs at Langford for the 2015/16 season.

Mark will be managing the SSMl Division One first team and will be joined by new assistant manager Alex Bishop.

Alex comes to Forde Park from a successful three and a half year spell at Bedford FC where he was assistant manager, a period which saw Bedford FC lift back to back Senior Trophy.

Meanwhile in the league recent seasons have seen Bedford FC finishing third in SSML Division One, just missing out on promotion, Alex also has level 2 coaching badges.

Phil Childs has stepped down from his management duties, but will remain supporting the club.

Chairman Ian Chessum said: “I’d like to thank Phil for all his efforts, knowledge & support- this is echoed from the playing and management team who extend their gratitude.”

The Reds are now looking for a reserve team manager and assistant for the fothrcoming SSML Reserve League (South & East) campaign.

The c lub are looking for a manager to coach the reserve team through the week (Tuesday & Thursday evenings) and to manage them at all matches from August to May).

The person appointed will be involved in the management and continuous assessment of reserve players in collaboration with the Mark Gearing as first team boss.

They will prepare and coach for every reserve team training session; as well as co-ordinate a pre season programme with the first team manager to maximise preparation for the forthcoming season .
