Potton and Gamlingay compete in memory of Steve Loney
Steve passed away last year and as his son, Aaron, has played for both clubs he was also a loyal supporter.
The match will raise funds for St John’s Hospice and there will be a bucket collection.

The two clubs will play for a trophy that has been donated and this match will become an annual event.
Kick off at The Hutchinson Hollow, Potton is at 7.45pm.
Potton bounced back from two pre-season defeats to record a morale boosting 7-2 victory over Foxton on Saturday.
New signing Matt Chapman scored a hat-trick, Gary Ansell-Carter scored two goals with Chris Reeves and George Kiely scoring one apiece.

Hide AdThis was followed by a 3-2 win over Biggleswade FC on Tuesday night. Potton goals came from Jack Weeden (two) and George Kiely.
On Tuesday, August 2 Potton will entertain Eynesbury Rovers, kick off 7.45pm, in their final friendly.
Admission is free for the match against Eynesbury but there is a chance to have a go on a football card and win some cash!
Potton’s UCL Division One campaigns starts on Saturday, August 6 with a visit to Melton Town.

Hide AdThey then have their first home fixture against Irchester United on Tuesday, August 9 before going to Daventry on August 13 and then hosting Lutterworth on August 20.
Potton United Reserves lost 3-2 at home to Arlesey Reserves on Saturday with Potton’s goals from James Wills.
The reformed reserve side begin their UCL Reserve Division campaign with a home fixture with Irchester United on Saturday, August 6 before travelling to Bourne Town on August 13 and welcoming Eynesbury Rovers on Wednesday, August 24.
