Tom Cookman netted after 21 minutes, before Sam Nair made it 2-0 with nine minutes remaining.

Rob Laney pulled one back for Borough in the closing seconds, but Biggleswade had done enough.

Stotfold went down 3-0 at home to Holmer Green in the same division.

Tom Paddle-James netted twice (38, 60), before Dean Allen grabbed the third on the stroke of full time.

Arlesey Town Reserves’ clash at home to Sun Postal Sports in Division One was postponed.

Meanwhile, in ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League KO Cup, Potton United won 3-1 at Woodford United thanks to goals from Nicholas Finney (2) and Gary Ansell-Carter.

On Tuesday, Stotfold host Tring Corinthians in round two of the Challenge Trophy, while Langford host Winslow United in round three.
