Biggleswade Town rounded off their league campaign in style on Saturday with an impressive 4-2 win and ended Weymouth’s play-off hopes in the process.
Weymouth took the lead at the Carlsberg Stadium through a Stewart Yetton penalty on the half hour but Tony Burnett levelled things up for the home side on the stroke of half time.
Jay Davies put Biggleswade in front on the hour. Chris Shepherd equalised for the visitors but Michael King restored the Waders’ lead, and Kelvin Bossman secured the points in injury time.
Town finished a few points above the relegation line to secure their Southern Premier Division status for next season.
