Biggleswade Town got their Southern League Premier campaign off to a flying start with a 4-2 win at Bedworth on Saturday.

Shane Hill opened the scoring midway through the first half - then Hill turned provider on the stroke of half time, crossing for Craig Daniel to head home.

On the hour the points appeared all but safe as Jay Davies walked the ball into an empty net to make it 3-0.

However, Bedworth came back into it straight after with Luke Row putting away a free kick and Ramsey Dickson heading home to pull the score back to 3-2.

But Sam Merson made it four when he powered a volley past a keeper that had no chance to move.

Biggleswade Town now host Slough Town on Tuesday.
