Biggleswade Town let a lead slip in a late flurry of goals at Paulton Rovers on Saturday as they lost 3-2.
Goalless at the break, Scott Wilson put the hosts ahead early in the second half.
However a quick fire double strike from David Hutton on 75 and 77 minutes put Biggleswade 2-1 in front and on course for a valuable win.
However within two minutes Paulton had levelled through Sam Teale, and Jon Davies bagged the winner from the penalty spot seven minutes from time.
The Waders are finally due to play a home Southern League Premier game after a lengthy break when they host Cambridge City on Saturday.
