Waders lose Rushden and Margate friendlies
Biggleswade Town lost 2-0 at AFC Rushden Diamonds in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.

Diamonds took the lead after just 80 seconds, Courtney Herbert turning in Tom Lorraine’s low cross.
It was a high quality game with both sides moving the ball forward quickly but without further goals in the first half.
Tom Lorraine smashed the ball home from 18 yards on 50 minutes for Rushden’s second. Waders had more probing possession in the second half and saw some good shooting positions wasted.
The game ended after a mass confrontation following a challenge, the referee consulting the managers and deciding to call an end early.
