Wet weather claims many weekend games

A host of local clubs were left without a game this week due to waterlogged pitches.

Biggleswade Town were without a fixture at the weekend anyway - while their midweek Beds Senior Cup clash against Bedford Town was called off on Tuesday morning.

Biggleswade United’s SSML Premier Division fixture at Welwyn Garden City on Saturday was called off the day before, while the Bedfordshire clash between Stotfold and Bedford at Roker Park was also postponed.

Langford’s SSML Division One game at Codicote was called off as was their league fixture at Harpenden on Tuesday. Arlesey Town Reserves’ match at Buckingham on Saturday went the same way.

Potton’s UCL Division One match at Lutterworth on Saturday was postponed.
