Biggleswade Town U18s went top of the league – albeit for just 24 hours – after completing the double over Mildenhall Town with a 6-0 win on Monday.

The young Waders included Rhys Thorpe in their starting line up and it was Rhys who opened the scoring on 12 minutes, heading home Josh Holmes’ cross. George Bailey made it 2-0 before half time.

The third came courtesy of Lee Northfield who tucked a Matthew Moore pass away. Moore himself then scored the fourth after good work from Josh Holmes and Bailey.

Bailey and Thorpe each grabbed a second before the end.
