Ampthill Town U18s collected The Hutchinson Shield after defeating Blunham in the rearranged East Beds final at Biggleswade on Monday.
Batting first, Ampthill set off at a brisk pace of over 10 runs an over but some tight bowling and good fielding restricted them to 114-7 wickets in their 16 overs.
Jake Duxbury with 41 and Ben Bradley with 27 not out were highest scorers followed by extras of 21. Michael Winfield with two wickets for 18 runs was the pick of Blunham bowlers.
In reply some early tight bowling ensured Blunham were never up with the required run rate and they were all out for 55 in the 12th over. Ben Bradley (2-17), Robbie Thompson (2-9), Cameron Riches (3-11) and Kevin Duxbury (2-17) shared the wickets with one run out.
East Beds Shield chairman John Gurney thanked Biggleswade for the use of their facilities and the umpires. He congratulated both teams on an excellent performance especially in the field with some excellent catches and run outs.
Umpires Geoff May and John Miller decided the Man of the Match should go to Ben Bradley for his bowling and batting and taking an excellent catch. John Gurney presented this and the winners and runners-up shields.
Collections at both games totalled £112.
