Ken’s key to mystery

Another clue has come to light regarding the date of the Conservative Club gathering photo, first published on November 7, 2014. Christine Hill had already pointed out that Admiral Halsey, who appears in the picture, died in 1949 so it had to have been taken prior to 1950. Ken Page has now confirmed that Florence Ann Lennox Boyd who is also in the photo died on November 15, 1945. Consequently he now believes that the celebration must have been for Lennox Boyd’s election victory on July 5, 1945.
