Smart quiz masters
Staying with the theme of old Biggleswade firms’ sports and social activities, Cliff Knight kindly sent us this photograph of the area quiz organisers for Smart & Brown which includes his father Reg.
From left to right are Mrs Jean Weldon, Mr Patrick Weldon (who is still active in the community and organises the Smart & Brown reunions) and Mr Reginald Knight. Note the old fashioned reel-to-reel tape recorder!
Cliff believes the photo was taken sometime during the 1970s.
