Biggleswade came back from being six points down to comfortably beat Stewarts & Lloyds 33-6 in Midlands Two East (South) on Saturday.
It was a cold afternoon with a bright sun with Biggleswade fielding 15 of last week’s squad.
But Stewarts & Lloyds started so strongly that Biggy were wilting in the tight scrums, conceding two early penalties for dropping the scrum at the put in.
But once the tries started it was all Biggleswade scoring the points as they ran in five tries to earn another bonus point.
This result moves Biggleswade to fourth place in the table at what is the halfway point in the league campaign.
Next up is a tricky fixture at home to Dunstablians.
