Spontaenously burst into song during musical at Cambridge


Improvised shows may make you think of stand up comedians trying to impressed with their wit.

But a production company is putting an improvised musical coming to Cambridge Arts Theatre next week.

Showstopper comes direct from the West End and has been a Edinburgh Fringe phenomenon for the past eight years. It has also been a Radio 4 Series and now a critically acclaimed West End run at London’s Apollo Theatre to their name.

The Showstoppers have delighted audiences across the globe with their ingenious blend of comedy, musical theatre and spontaneity.

A brand new musical comedy is created from scratch at each performance of this award-winning show, as audience suggestions are transformed on the spot into an all-singing, all-dancing production with unpredictable and hilarious results.

This incredible comedy troupe never fail to impress as they create shows packed with drama, dazzling dance routines and catchy melodies, leaving delighted audiences singing all the way home.

So whether you fancy Sondheim on a ski lift or Cole Porter in Poundland - you suggest it and the Showstoppers will sing it.

It will be performed from Monday February 22 to Saturday February 27 with shows taking place at 7.45pm each night with a matinee taking place on Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets for the show cost between £18 and £28 and all ticket prices include a £3 per-ticket booking fee.
