Chamber membership is now free

At the organisation’s annual meeting, held at The Crown Hotel in Biggleswade High Street on Monday (August 8) acting chairman Martin Thomas said he hoped the change would attract more members.

He said: “We have found in the past that we have not had as many people attending the meetings as we might have liked and hopefully now it is free to join this will change.

“It is always difficult when you hold a meeting in August as so many people are on holiday. It is inevitable that you do not see so many.”

Mr Thomas said the organisation’s website had attracted a lot of hits and he had received a lot of correspondence.
