Having their cake and eating it
THE birds and activities certainly drew in the crowds at The Lodge at the weekend.
The RSPB held two Feed the Birds days where they encouraged members of the public to visit and discover what they can do for their feathered friends during the cold weather.
Youngsters and adults alike were shown how to make bird cake to keep their garden birds plump during the winter months.
There was also a bird ringing demonstration and nature art for children as well as information about the charity’s Homes for Wildlife campaign.
