Helpers needed for beaver colony

The current Gemini and Apollo beaver colonies in Biggleswade should soon be complemented with a new group.

The waiting list for the current colonies is quite long and it is hoped that the new one will help to satisfy demand.

Leaders are hoping to start the new beaver colony in September.

But before it can be launched new adult volunteers are needed to help out.

The leaders are also looking for volunteers who can help in supervising cubs, scouts and explorers too.

Up-to-date information is also needed for youngsters who are on the waiting list for the current colonies.

This includes the child’s name, date of birth, address, home and mobile phone numbers and names and email addresses for their parents.
