Four hurt in Clophill collision

Four people were taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Bedfordshire this morning.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at 7.14am today (3rd May) to a report of a road traffic collision on the A6 at Clophill.

Four ambulance crews and an ambulance officer were sent to the scene.

One patient had a chest injury and three others had neck and back pain – two of whom had to be placed on a spinal board.

All four were taken to Bedford Hospital South Wing for further treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious.
