Garden opening with afternoon tea served at church

Glebe House at Southill, the home of Sir Samuel and Lady Whitbread, will be opening on Wednesday, May 18, with an invitation to purchase tickets.

The open afternoon will be followed by a special afternoon tea served at Southill church.

The gardens at Glebe House will be open from 2.30pm.

The garden, designed by Tom Stuart Smith, features large herbaceous borders and an old walled garden.

There is an enclosed rose garden with thatched summer house, shrub border area and woodland area. There is also a sunken garden within a large, mature, yew hedge. You can also admire a water feature with wisterias.
