Rod Haynes is researching and writing the complete history of the Caxton and Cambridgeshire Speedway Track, covering the years 1931 through the two operating seasons of 1932 and 1933, until closure of the venue around 1937.

He is looking to purchase original programmes and any other related documents from the years it was in operation.

He said: “Some of my early research led me to the company who were contracted to produce the official track programmes which were the Larkinson Brothers printers of Hitchin Street, Biggleswade, unfortunately they are no longer in business.”

If any readers can help Mr Haynes with any documents or information, he can be contacted at 18 Crakedale Road, Winterton, North Lincolnshire, DN15 9UT, by calling 01724 734409, or email him at [email protected]
