Spanish flautist at concert of chamber music
Spring Classics, featuring flute, violin, viola and continuo, is being held at St Andrew’s Church on Sunday, May 22, at 3pm.
The musicians play with some of the best early music groups in Europe, such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Gabrieli Consort and Players, The Early Opera Company, The Hanover Band, The Academy of Ancient Music, The English Concert, and The Sixteen, and performed in concert venues all over the world.

Hide AdThis time the group will be joined by flautist Eva Caballero, from Barcelona, a specialist on the early wooden flute, who has won numerous awards as a chamber music performer in the UK and Spain, including XIII Paper de Música de Capellades, Premi Ciutat Manresa, IX Pòdiums de St Joan de Vilatorrada, and plays with renowned orchestras under conductors such as John Elliot Gardiner, Marc Minkowski, Phillippe Herreweghe,and Paul McCreesh.
