Langford lose by odd goal in seven
The Reds failed to settle, allowing the visitors all the early pressure. When they did break out David Tembua ran down the right wing, cut inside but had his shot blocked, and it fell to Sean Murray who shot wide.
In the 12th minute Langford were awarded a penalty and up stepped Nathan Mallett but his shot was saved by Marco Tuzzeo in the Wodson goal.

Hide AdFrom the resulting corner Matt Kenneford had his fierce shot deflected wide. Ryan Nicholl took the second corner, putting the ball on his brother Luke’s head. He made no mistake heading strongly into the top corner for the opening goal.
Wodson fought back having shots saved, hitting the bar, and shooting wide. Then on 28 minutes the ball came to Matt Kenneford in central midfield, he ran past two defenders and struck a fierce shot past the advancing Wodson keeper to go 2-0 up.
The game moved from end to end, and following a corner Wodson scrambled the ball over the line .
Wodson mounted more pressure, restricting Langford to the odd break away.

Hide AdThe second half kicked off and Wodson went all out for an equaliser, De Lauri made a fine double save, however on 61 minutes Bishop beat the Langford keeper with a far post header.
Four minutes later the same player headed in from a corner toput Wodson 3-2 ahead.
Wodson continued to dominate possession, but Langford forced a corner from a rare counter attack. Stephen Brooks put the ball at the feet of Sean Murray who duly shot Langford’s third.
Neither team appeared to want to close out the game, and either could have won it. In the 85th minute from a corner Bishop had a shot netting his third and Wodson’s fourth and that proved to be the winner.
