Morris hits a first half FA Cup hat-trick
Paul Morris scored a hat-trick as Stotfold progressed to the Preliminary Round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 success on the road at Wellingborough.
Morris struck three times in the first 28 minutes to put the Eagles firmly in charge. The Doughboys pulled one back on the hour but Stotfold saw the match out to earn a home tie with Welwyn Garden City next.
However the SSML Premier opener on Wednesday night was one to forget. Morris and Luke Burkett scored, in a 6-2 defeat at Hoddesdon.
They visit Wembley on Saturday and Broxbourne on Tuesday.
