Waders retain Southern Premier status
Biggleswade Town’s survival in the Southern League Premier was officially confirmed despite defeat on Saturday.
The Waders were all but mathematically safe going into the game at Redditch, and results elsewhere secured their status for the next campaign.
They lost 1-0, George Carline netting the only goal of the game seven minutes before the break.
The Waders’ league campaign closes at home to Weymouth on Saturday.
