Covers, rock and swing too

Acoustic singer and songwriter Nick Moyster will be entertaining the crowds at Biggleswade Conservative Club on Saturday (March 23).

Nick has been performing for more than four years and has played everywhere from intimate pubs to larger venues and at weddings.

A covers band who play a wide range of genres will be entertaining pub-goers in Gamlingay on Friday (March 22), meanwhile.

Three-piece The Lurcher Band will play everything from soul, blues and rock to some good old-fashioned rock and roll.

Catch them at The Wheatsheaf from 9pm.

An evening of swing, jazz and melody will be on the cards at Ickwell Cricket Club on Saturday.

Brian J will be singing favourite tracks at the venue from 9pm.

Johnny Red will be playing rock and roll classics at Potton and District Club on Saturday while Timeless will be performing some pub rock classics at The Cornerstone in Shefford on the same night.

Authentic 1960s and 1970s cover band The Looters will be on the bill at Stotfold Conservative Club on Saturday.

The four-piece average 100 gigs a year and have a wealth of experience in their ranks.
