Fairy Godmother will weave her magic for Cinders to go dancing

Rags to riches is the theme of a much loved fairy tale. The Cople Players will perform Cinderella at the end of the month.

Although you think you know the tale keep your eyes peeled because there are rumours of an amusing twist!

Shows will be at Cople Village Hall on Friday, March 28 at 7.30pm and Saturday, March 29 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

> Biggleswade and District Choral Society has attracted a steady stream of new members in the last year and this is allowing the choir to tackle some more ambitious works at a concert on Saturday, March 29.

The society will perform Josef Rheinberger’s Mass in C with the East Bedfordshire Chamber Orchestra.

The concert will also include sections of Beethoven’s Choral Fantasia and John Rutter’s This is the Day.

It will be in St Andrew’s Church in Biggleswade, starting at 7.30pm.

> Northill and Ickwell Drama Group will present Old King Cole at Northill Village Hall this month.

Performances will be on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at 7.30pm plus there will be a 2pm matinee on the Saturday.

> Northill based Masquerades Youth Theatre Group will host a charity cabaret and comedy night on Saturday, April 12.

It will raise money for research into cot death and The Lullaby Trust as leader Karen Woodcock’s first son died from this. The show will feature both past and present students.
