Committee member Julia Black said: “Film music is great to play, with iconic, sweeping themes and atmospheric moments that the music heightens.

“Who can forget the shrieking violins in the shower scene of Psycho or the scary bass instrument motif for the great white shark in Jaws?

“So relive your favourite film memories with a programme of music from Schindler’s List to The King and I; lots of popular tunes that everyone will know and love, and the band enjoys playing.”

As a special movie treat popcorn will be on sale, as well as other refreshments and raffle tickets.
