Pack up a picnic for a great night at Abbey

It’s a packed summer for theatregoers at Woburn Abbey and Gardens with a full programme of events and activities on offer.

The energetic and dynamic Pantaloons Theatre Company will be back at Woburn this month with their open air production of The Tempest in the Abbey gardens.

There are also two musical events on July 27. Take a picnic to Songs on the Lawn or enjoy fine dining at A Touch of West End.

As we approach the centenary of the outbreak of World War I, the Historical Character Days return next month to give you an insight into life in and around Woburn 100 years ago. These events will take place on the 9th - 11th and 23rd - 25th August. Activities are included with admission to Woburn Abbey Gardens on these weekends.

For keen gardeners there is a two course seasonal lunch with coffee and a private guided tour of the Woburn Abbey Gardens on July 10, price £29.95 per person.
