Ready to rock on

Biggleswade is a town a music fan knows will always have plenty to offer on the gig front, and this weekend is no exception.

Four-piece rock and pop covers band Get Carter will be among the acts entertaining the crowds, and will be playing at The Red Lion pub on Saturday (October 27).

The experienced band pay homage to rock and pop legends from all areas so a quality night of entertainment if guaranteed.

Another experienced covers band, 3 Days of Freedom will also be in action over the weekend, at The Rose in Biggleswade on Saturday.

The band will be performing as part of a spooky Halloween party at the pub.

Over in Arlesey, The Iconics will be serving up a heady cocktail of covers at the Old Oak pub on Saturday.

The six-piece outfit specialise in ska and two-tone favourites from the 1970s and 1980s.

Moggerhanger Village Hall will be the venue to be heading to hear a performance from the Split Whiskers on Saturday.

The five-piece band hail from Cambridge and promise a set of finger-clicking, toe-tapping favourites.

The night starts at 6.30pm.

Over in Potton, The Natalies will also be serving up quality rock, pop and indie covers at the Potton & District Club on Saturday.

A busy weekend of live music in Sandy starts on Friday (October 26) with a performance at The Roundabout Club by Hesh.

The four-piece rock covers band play favourites from the 1960s to the present day.

Markus, a solo artist will be putting on his live show at Sandy Conservative Club on Saturday, meanwhile.

Markus is a singer, DJ and performer and promises an entertaining show for all.

More recent covers from the 1990s to the present day will be on the cards at The White Hart Hotel in Shefford on Friday.

King the Pink play tributes to everyone from Kings of Leon to Britney Spears and more.

Tatanka will also be playing a wide spectrum of rock covers at The Cornerstone pub in Shefford on Saturday.

The sounds of Primal Scream, the Kaiser Chiefs, The Foo Fighters and others will also be heard at The Coach and Horses in Stotfold on Saturday when Trip Fontaine & the Love Reaction take to the stage at the pub.

A true musical legend is also coming to Bedford in the shape of the one, the only Wilko Johnson!

Wilko will play at Bedford Corn Exchange on Thursday, November 1.
