She is most commonly known for playing Cilla Battersby in Coronation Street, as well as appearing in children’s television shows including Hetty Feather and Hacker Time.

Wendi has recently finished appearing in Oh What A Lovely War! and has appeared in a variety of different West End productions including White Christmas and Our House 10th Anniversary Concert.

Sleeping Beauty is a traditional family pantomime where a princess is searching for happiness, evil Carabosse is searching for revenge, Chester the Jester is searching for someone to laugh at his jokes and Dame Nellie Night Nurse is searching for a man – in the front two rows! There will be plenty of music, laughter and special effects.

It runs from Friday, November 27 to Sunday, January 24. Tickets, from £15.50, can be booked by calling 01438 363 200 or visiting www.gordon-craig.co.uk
