Performances of Cinderella at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage continue until Sunday, January 26 (pictured).

Catch it today (Friday) at 10.15am and 7pm, tomorrow at 1pm, 4pm and 7.30pm and on Sunday at 1.30pm and 5pm. There are no performances on Monday and Tuesday but it will be back on Wednesday at 7pm and on Thursday at 2.30pm and 7pm.

This year’s magical production starring former Eastenders star, Gillian Wright, and Stevenage’s favourite Dame, Paul Laidlaw, has been a huge success with audiences and critics alike.

The show has been seen by more than 27,000 people during December, with 95 per cent of performances sold out. Industry publication The Stage complimented the actors, stating: “Gillian Wright is a sweetly joyous and springy Fairy ‘G’ and local Dame extraordinaire Paul Laidlaw does a fine line in knowing one liners.”

Cambridge Arts Theatre’s pantomime, Robin Hood, continues until Sunday. It features Ross Hunter from the West End’s Rock of Ages as Robin, Jonny Weldon, who was Jack in last year’s Jack and the Beanstalk, is Will Scarlett and Ian Redford, who has performed at The Globe Theatre and the National Theatre, is Friar Tuck.

Sophie Isaacs, who was Jill in last year’s panto, is Fairy Willoweb, while Stephen Beckett, who played Squire Nastee last year, is the Sheriff of Nottingham.

The cast is rounded off by Lorna Want as Maid Marian and Matt Crosby as Nurse Nellie.

Performances are today at 10.30am, 2pm and 7pm, tomorrow at 1pm and 5pm and on Sunday at 1pm and 5pm.
