Soldiers singing the right notes as they hit the stage

There’s plenty happening at the theatres this week.

The Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage is transforming into a cinema for today (Friday). You can see the Bond film Skyfall at either 2.30pm or 7.30pm.

The Soldiers (pictured right), a band formed from serving soldiers, will hit the stage at the same venue tomorrow at 8pm.

Brit Award winners Blake will bring their songs to the theatre on Sunday at 7.45pm.

Agatha Christie’s A Murder is Announced will be at the theatre from Tuesday to Saturday, February 16. See it at 7.45pm each evening or at a 2.30pm matinee on the Thursday or Saturday.

ABBA Forever are at Bedford Corn Exchange at 8pm tonight.

Then tomorrow Lee Hurst will bring his show , Too Scared to Leave the House, to the venue at 8pm.

See Strictly Come Dancing choreographer and performer Brendan Cole’s show, License to Thrill, at Milton Keynes Theatre. It will start at 7.30pm this evening.

Catch Milton Jones: On the Road at the theatre tomorrow and on Sunday at 7.30pm.

Goodnight Mister Tom is on at the venue from Tuesday until Saturday, February 16. Performances are at 7pm each evening and there are matinees at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday plus at 2.30pm on the Saturday.

The Comedy of Errors continues at Cambridge Arts Theatre tonight at 7.45pm and tomorrow at 2.30pm and 7.45pm.

Michael Portillo will speak about his career at the venue on Sunday at 7.45pm.

From Monday to Saturday, February 16 you can catch Abigail’s Party at the theatre.

Performances are at 7.45pm each evening and there are also matinees at 2.30pm on the Thursday and Saturday.
