Rupert Everett, whose film credits include Shrek 2 and Shrek the Third, Shakespeare in Love and My Best Friend’s Wedding, is the star of The Judas Kiss.

He takes the role of Oscar Wilde in David Hare’s compelling drama.

Catch at Cambridge Arts Theatre tonight (Friday) at 7.45pm and tomorrow at either 2.30pm or 7.45pm. Tickets cost from £20.

The theatre is showing An Evening with Cleo Laine and Friends on Sunday at 7.45pm. Tickets cost from £15.

Bedford Corn Exchange a holding the Festival of Romance Awards and Ball tonight at 7.30pm in the Harpur Suite. Tickets cost £45.

Also tonight but this time in the main auditorium is The Pink Floyd Dimension. The tribute band will start playing at 8pm. Tickets cost £12.

Bedfordshire Orchestral Society will play the music of Debussy and Mahler in the same venue tomorrow at 7.30pm. Tickets cost from £3.

There will be a Romantic Fiction Conference in the venue’s Howard Room on Sunday at 11.30am. Tickets cost £29 including a working lunch.

Guitarist Albert Lee will perform in the main auditorium on Sunday at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18 in advance and £20 on the door.
