Wartime life with satirical musical play

THE people who lived through the Great War tell their own stories in this thought provoking play.

Oh What a Lovely War is told through songs and documents from the period and is a powerful reminder of the atrocities of a war that cost twenty million lives.

The play is a satirical attack on the military incompetence and inconceivable disregard for human life that some believe the First World War has come to represent and a chilling reminder of man’s inhumanity to man. It combines live music, dance, songs and sketches to create a picture of life for those on the front line and those behind it.
