190 new coronavirus infections and 11 deaths have been confirmed in Central Bedfordshire today (Friday), according to figures from Public Health England.

The total number of cases in the borough now stands at 12,684 (+190).

A daily rise of 11 deaths (within 28 days of a positive test) was reported in Central Beds today, with 429 in total since the pandemic began

The case rate in Central Beds is now 421.6 per 100,000.

Elsewhere in the county, Luton has 15,443 (+239) cases while Bedford's figure is at 10,749 (+154).

There have been 3,583,907 lab-confirmed cases across the UK, up by a daily rise of 40,261.

95,981 deaths have been recorded within 28 days of a positive test, up by 1,401 today.
