Lace up your walking boots and set off

A two day walk along the Greensand Ridge will be held as part of the Bedfordshire Walking Festival.

It takes place on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. The distance will be 18 miles on the first day and 22 miles on the second but walkers can opt to just do one day.

This will be an organised walk though participants can also walk or run the distance at their own pace.

To take part download a booking form from www.bedswalkfest.co.uk and send it, complete with a £10 cheque, to the organiser at 67 Avon Drive, Bedford, MK41 7UR.

There will be several walks of varying distances within the county from Saturday, September 3 to Sunday, September 11.
