A blooming good show!

More than 100 visitors enjoyed some colourful displays at a gardening show at the weekend.

Biggleswade & District Gardening Club welcomed crowds from around the area to its Big Spring Show on Sunday, April 7.

The Weatherley Centre in Biggleswade was the venue for the show, where visitors could enjoy 43 classes and buy plants, books and homemade cakes. Most of the exhibitors at the event regularly attend major shows around the country and the standard of entries was high.

Show secretary David Hockley said: “We had a good turnout and saw some lovely displays of flowers.

“The show has been running for more than 30 years now and continues to be a popular fixture in the area.”
