A fundraising festival with seven acts

A HOTEL landlord and landlady are staging a music festival in aid of a family charity appeal.

Beckie Philpott and her partner Matthew Lyttle will be putting on the event at The White Hart Hotel in Shefford to raise money for Handstand – the Appeal for Marshall Janson.

Seven acts will be performing at the festival on Saturday, June 16.

The event will run until late and will include performances from the Soulman, The Revolutions, Mandy, Wise Old Owls, Tie One On, The Crooner (also known as Paul Adams) and XL5.

There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, bungee run, roaming magician, beer tent and a barbecue.

Tickets are on sale at the hotel now and are £5 for adults. Under 12s will be admitted free.
