America’s Got Talent finalists to perform at school

A musical group who reached the final of America’s Got Talent are due to perform at a Chronicle Country school.

The Saline Fiddlers will be playing live at Etonbury Academy on Monday (July 8) as the school opens its new farm.

The 40-strong group, who play American folk fiddle, bluegrass, jazz, western swing and Celtic music will also be raising awareness for the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) charity.

The CBM aims to improve the lives of people with disabilities.

The band – who have performed more than 1,000 times across the US – are currently in the middle of a tour of the UK.

Youngsters will also get the chance to meet members of the group at a barbecue beforehand.
