Appeal over missing Biggleswade woman

Police are appealing for information about a woman who has been missing Wednesday (March 26).

Georgia Ampartzoglou – a Greek national living with her daughter in Biggleswade – was last seen at King’s Cross Station in London, waiting to board a train to the town.

Her daughter went to buy her mother a drink at around 9pm, but when she returned Georgia was missing.

Georgia is a white woman, around five feet tall, of slim build, with copper-red hair but does not speak English.

She was wearing a beige cashmere coat, a green jumper, a blue floral style skirt, blue tights and blue shoes.

Georgia was also carrying two plastic bags – one from Boots and one from Foyles bookshop.
