Apprenticeship award goes to Liebherr GB

Liebherr GB Ltd took the gong at the National Apprenticeship Awards.

The company was announced as the winner of The BAE Systems Large Employer of the Year category at the Central Eastern ceremony for the second year in a row, and was also named in last years prestigious TOP 100 companies list out of 220,000 companies offering apprenticeships.

Liebherr Great Britain and Liebherr Ireland are sales companies servicing the construction industry in the cranes, earth moving and concrete mixing sectors.

Lee Mason, apprentice programme generalist said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Liebherr GB Ltd and an accolade to be very proud of.

“We have come a long way and have further to go but if this is anything to go by then the future for apprenticeships with Liebherr look very promising indeed. We will not rest on our laurels and hope we are as successful next year!”

Lee won the City & Guilds Apprentice Champion Award for his work in promoting and advocating apprenticeships after experiencing life as an apprentice.
