Back into the ancient past
YOUNGSTERS explored life and death in an ancient civilisation.
Children in Years 2, 3 and 4 at Langford Lower School enjoyed an Egyptian day with travelling historians Portals to the Past.
As well as looking at artefacts and images of gods and goddesses the pupils were also able to re-enact the funeral of a pharaoh.
Year 4 teacher, Mehdi Tchina, said: “The day was for the end of their topic. The children enjoyed it and learnt a lot.”
