Luminites, an up-and-coming street band spent the day at Holmemead Middle School in Biggleswade on Wednesday (January 11).

One student even had the chance to go on stage and beatbox with R-tizt.

Cate Lawson from Holmemead Middle said: “The band’s management company made contact with us on the last day of the autumn term so we didn’t have long to prepare, but it was great to have the band here.

“Their sound is like a cross between pop and hip-hop and the students loved their live set.

“It was only a few years ago that The Wanted were doing the same thing.”
