Bank holiday music for all

There is plenty of musical talent on display this weekend in Chronicle Country.

On Friday evening The Soul Man will be performing at The Roundabout Club in Sandy from 9pm until midnight. For non-members it will cost £2 to attend.

Saturday will see a wide range of local musicians taking to the stage for your entertainment.

The White Light Band, who cover 1980s hits, will be at the Potton and District Club from 9pm. Again it will cost £2 to see the band perform their range of songs.

Also in Potton, the Folding Stars will provide the entertainment at Rising Sun for free.

Folding Stars are an energetic three piece band playing Modrock and Britpop covers from The Who, Oasis, The Beatles, and Stereophonics.

On Sunday the same band will be performing at The Crown in Willington.

Sunday will see On The Edge performing at Rising Sun from 9pm , again for free.

The duo deliver polished performances of classic rock from the last 40 years with their own backing tracks.

There will also be Bank Holiday Disco at Potton and District Club on Sunday from 9pm at the cost of just £2.
