Bedford Torch Relay: pictures

The wet weather didn’t deter thousands of people from lining the streets of the town to see the flame pass through.

It passed Bedford Athletics Stadium before taking to the busiest part of the route, The Embankment.

It continued along St Mary’s Street, London Road and Harrowden Road.
